Hello there! I’m Samantha, but most people just call me Sam. Sammy works, too. I’m a college student studying to be a journalist. I enjoy painting, reading, thinking, photography, dreaming, politics, Halloween, burlesque, theater, coffee, fashion…any creative outlet available to test my limits.
I started doing photography as editor for my award winning college magazine, The Pioneer. What grew from taking photographs of staff and faculty around campus is now a full-service portrait business, specializing in on location and in studio shoots for seniors, children, families, couples, and individuals. I strive to offer an excellent product at an affordable rate, all while making the client feel as comfortable as possible in front of the camera. I have a background in modeling and theatre and know just the right poses to make any person feel and look awesome. I also offer cosmetic services to clients, and my background working for Lancome as a beauty advisor is a testimony to my expert take on capturing a person’s natural glow and vivaciousness.
My favorite shoots are always the pin-up style ones. Whether curvy or thin, there’s always something so fun and glamorous about getting dolled up to show off for a loved one, or just as a graet confidence booster! As a burlesque performer, I have a pretty extensive knowledge of classic pin-up poses and costuming. My closet is brimming with burlesque and pin-up style lingerie and fashion (as well as years of theatre costumes), and that is available to any client (for a small add-on fee) that might be having a difficult time figuring out what to wear for a shoot. Sizes range from large to small, so no worries!
